This Level 3 Award in Education and Training (formerly referred to as PTLLS) is a knowledge based introduction to teaching and training which has no teaching practice requirement. The qualification covers the knowledge and skills required by trainers in the training skills sector and in further education. Assessment is by assignments and observation of a “micro-teach” session.
The Level 3 Awards are an introduction to teaching that will provide an insight into the roles, responsibilities and relationships in teaching. The Qualification provides an introduction on how to plan and deliver inclusive training sessions and how to assess and record decisions.
This qualification is a stepping stone towards the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.
This award is completed in the workplace, minimising the need for you to travel.
