Emma leads the Marketing and Communications team at AdviceUK, where she is responsible for shaping and delivering a strategic, member-focused approach to engagement. She has an ambition to enhance the member communication experience into one that is more accessible, meaningful, and impactful, while significantly raising awareness of the organisation and the vital work carried out by its member organisations across the sector and beyond.
With over 20 years of experience in marketing communications, Emma brings a depth of expertise spanning brand development, stakeholder engagement, content strategy, and integrated campaigns. Her career reflects a strong commitment to purpose-driven work, having spent more than half of her professional life in the not-for-profit sector. During this time, she has developed an understanding of how to communicate complex messages with clarity and authenticity, particularly within organisations focused on delivering positive social impact.
Emma has also worked extensively with membership bodies, supporting them to strengthen their voice, connect more effectively with their audiences, and champion causes that improve people’s lives. She is particularly passionate about building collaborative relationships, amplifying member stories, and ensuring that communications not only inform but inspire action and advocacy.
