The London Advice Conference – 9 February 2015
The seventh London Advice Conference took place on 9 February 2015 and was kindly hosted by Clifford Chance at their Canary Wharf premises and supported by London Councils.
Over 90 delegates from AdviceUK member agencies, Law Centres, CABx and other advice centres from across London were present to hear Keynote speeches from
- Patrick Butler – Editor of Society, Health and Education policy – The Guardian
- Dr Peter Kenway – Director, New Policy Institute
The conference ended with an inspiring speech from David McAuley,Chief Executive, The Trussell Trust who reminded delegates never to forget ‘Why’ their organisation was set up.
Delegates had eight workshops to choose from over the morning and afternoon sessions.

Lasa’s team of ‘IT surgeons’ were on hand throughout the day and answered questions on social media, websites and databases.
Meanwhile our expert from AdvicePro was able to assist delegates resolve any technical issues they had with the software.
