Membership Types

AdviceUK’s purpose and vision is to create a society wherein every individual, regardless of means, is able to access the advice they need in order to exercise their rights and deal with any legal and social welfare problems they may face.

We are primarily known for supporting independent advice agencies and services that give social welfare advice directly, working in a wide range of diverse communities. These organisations typically hold Network Membership. However, we also offer other types of membership and these are also listed below.

Network Membership

Network Membership is for individual organisations. We aim to work both with and for our Network Members to the full extent that our resources will allow; for example through:

  • Advice centric information and updates
  • Regular networking and sharing of sector knowledge online and at events
  • Support services – with Croner business support and money advice support
  • Influencing and Engagement work with Government

Group Network Membership

In limited circumstances, we can offer Group Membership to networks or consortia of advice-giving organisations. Please contact membership for more details.

Associate

We offer Associate Membership to organisations that we are proud to associate with and who, while not giving social welfare advice directly, , have objectives and values that are consistent with or complementary to our own. An annual Associate fee is payable. Associate Members have access to selected member benefits.

Please contact membership if you are interested in becoming an Associate Member.
