Becoming a Member

Does your organisation provide social welfare advice or information?  Find out about becoming a member here.

Why should we join?

There are many reasons why you should become a member of the biggest network for independent advice centres in the UK. As a national body we represent your interests to stakeholders and the government, and provide a voice to funders and supporters. We offer many services and products tailored to the advice sector, and as a member you can benefit from discounts on all of them – helping you run better, more efficient services, and giving you the freedom to concentrate your efforts and resources on the people you help every day. Any money we make goes into providing more resources for our members.

“Our membership not only plugs us into your excellent information services, but also links us to the wider network of organisations nationally.”

AdviceUK Membership – “Different Together”

Membership of the AdviceUK network is open to any organisation that satisfies the membership criteria set by our Board of Trustees, ensuring a baseline of standards, but at the same time welcoming the great diversity of organisations providing help through advice. Our network has always celebrated that diversity, and our aim is to support not control. We recognise and value our members’ different identities and approaches in pursuit of common aims, and consider our network somewhere our members can be “Different Together”.

What do we have to do to apply?

To apply, your organisation must fulfil the current membership criteria, which will qualify you for membership with AdviceUK, and give you access our benefits and discounts!
