He did it! – Chris Tansey finished the Marathon for AdviceUK

Chris Tansey raised over 40% of his target for The AdviceUK Foundation Fund!

On behalf of AdviceUK, CEO Steve Johnson would like to offer congratulations and a massive thank you to Chris Tansey for completing the 2019 London Marathon on 28th April  in 5 hours 1 minute!

Chris, AdviceUK’s very own UK AdviceFinder & Data Manager ran the London Marathon to raise money for the AdviceUK Foundation Fund.

Chris said:

“I’ve run a few marathons before, but this one was not an easy one. It was an amazing day though and I was spurred on by the thought of  the many people that can benefit through the work of the AdviceUK Foundation Fund. I had a personal target of £4,000 that I wanted to raise and so far I have reached  40% that target and the fundraising will continue – so if anyone would still like to donate after the event I would be most grateful”.

AdviceUK came out in huge support of Chris and shared a celebratory post drink tipple with him.

We hope this to be the first of many fundraising events for the AdviceUK Foundation Fund in this, the 40th Anniversary year and going forward.
