Job role: Engagement Support Worker
Advice Area: Adviser – Disability
Organisation: Together! 2012 CIC
Job type: Permanent
Working hours: Part time
Location: London
Salary: £15,000 (£25,000 pro rata)
Closing date: 24-02-2020
We are seeking an Engagement Support Worker for 21 hours a week,  to join the Together! 2012 Team and help create the London 2012 Paralympic cultural Legacy in East London and beyond.

The Engagement Support Worker will support Team members and participants to overcome barriers to participating in Together! 2012 CIC activities, providing advocacy and access support and managing volunteers. The detailed job description is on pages 3-4 of the pack.

Application to join our Team is by CV, with a covering letter explaining in detail how the experience outlined in your CV meets the Job Description and Person Specification.

We are interested in learning about your informal experience too, including your interests, hobbies and activities — anything that you believe is relevant to your application and would make you a good member of the Together! team. Newham is the most diverse borough in the UK, and we very much welcome applications from people of colour, people of faith, people from the LGBTQI+ communities, and people from impairment groups and communities who reflect the local population and who are traditionally under-represented in the arts.

NB: The successful applicant will be required to work weekday mornings and Thursday afternoons, with some work required at other times. All of our positions are part-time, in order to meet the needs of Disabled people, parents and carers, and so that team members can continue with their own creative practice.
