An independent commission has been set up to look at the future of support for the local voluntary and community sector. It is researching the challenges and opportunities facing groups like yours. This is the chance to have your say:

Share any research that you think might be relevant to the Commission. This is might include:

  • Research and data on infrastructure support and provision
  • State of the sector reports
  • Research on the needs of the sector
  • Horizon scanning studies

Suggest people who might contribute to area visits

The Commission plans to visit several local areas. We would welcome your thoughts on local groups that might be willing to meet the Commission when they visit the following areas:

  • Portsmouth on 7 May;
  • Wigan on 21 May;
  • Tameside on 22 May; and
  • Exeter and South Devon on 2 and 3 June
