The theme for this year is ‘Re – Adjust Advice and Justice’ which asks the question  How can the advice sector reinvigorate  social justice in a changing world of political and economic fragmentation?

The Programme

AdviceUK has put together a conference programme with content designed to be inspiring, informative and relevant to advice centre managers, supervisors and advisers.

A change from the usual venue, this year’s Conference will be hosted at the heart of Robin Hood country at Capital One’s Head Office at Trent House, Station Street, Nottingham, NG2 3HX.

Highlights of the day include:

  • An opening plenary session with AdviceUK CEO Steve Johnson, followed by some words from this year’s key note speaker
  • A number of workshops including managing risk in the advice sector, effective signposting, understanding / assessing the health of your organisation and advice for students
  • A closing plenary session will this year include a ‘Question Time’ style debate with our panel of advice sector experts
  • An exhibition area with exhibits from a wide range of voluntary, statutory and commercial organisations as well as members and associate members of AdviceUK
