The University of Lincoln Students’ Union Advice Centre provides free, confidential and impartial advice and information on a wide range of issues, including Academic, Finance, Housing and Welfare to the students of the University of Lincoln. The Advice Centre Manager Position

The Advice Centre Manager will manage the provision of confidential, impartial and non-judgmental advice on a range of academic issues to a diverse student membership. Ensuring the service is widely promoted and is of a high quality, respected by students as independent and professional.

Key responsibilities include:
– coordinate representation and advocacy for students at University hearings; for example in regards to disciplinary hearings, assessment appeal hearings and fitness to practice hearings
– support, manage and train the Advisors and the Assistant Advice Centre Manager in deliver of independent and impartial advice to Students
– provide support and advice to the Student Leaders in the planning and delivery of welfare events and campaigns
– maintain an up-to-date knowledge of higher education advice matters and best practices and to respond accordingly
