Key Skills for Reception Workers – date to be confirmed – Cardiff

Reception is the front face of any service organisation. The role of a receptionist is often multi-faceted & can be challenging. On this course, we’ll unpick the diverse skills needed to be an effective receptionist & plan for how to effectively bring these into your practice at work.

Dealing with Difficult Client Situations – date to be confirmed – Cardiff

This course is for anyone who has to deal with difficult situations involving people at work. You will explore some of the reasons that people are or become difficult and devise some strategies for dealing with your specific work situations.
Suitable for new and experienced staff (also London 9 March).

Our one day courses above are £100 per place for AdviceUK member organisations.

Train the Trainer – 2 days in house

This in-house 2 day course brings together some of the theory of adult learning with lots of practice and opportunities for feedback, in a supportive environment. Relevant whether you’ve trained before or have never stood up in front of a group of people!

Qualifications & Accreditation

For frontline advisers, we are also able to offer NVQ Advice & Guidance Qualifications at both Levels 3 & 4. More details of these qualifications can be found here.
For trainers & assessors looking for CPD, we have Level 3 Award in Education and Training – the City & Guilds qualification for teacher/trainers in work-based learning.
