Trainer: Carol Huggins

What this course is about:

As part of the Welfare Reform Act, Universal Credit is changing the way benefits are paid. Universal Credit will pay the housing element direct to claimants. It will be important that tenants know how to budget, manage their income, minimise debt and avoid rent arrears.

This new course will help housing staff to understand the welfare reform changes and how it will impact on their residents. Ensuring tenants are equipped with the right skills will ensure they sustain their tenancies long term.
