Just say ‘know’ to discrimination!
Accelerated learning on the Equality Act 2010 for busy advice professionals
Do you have clients who are downtrodden by discrimination & eager for equality? Do you feel confident when supporting them? Would you like a better of knowledge of equality law so you can help your clients to successfully exercise their rights?
AdviceUK has teamed up with the Equality & Human Rights Commission to offer the advice sector the very best training in advising on discrimination issues. People can face discrimination at work, in housing, in education and when accessing services – so all advisers and information workers should be able to identify discrimination and know how to support clients to challenge it.
In a 1-day session, we’ll help you to find your way round the Equality Act 2010 and the protection it provides. We’ll help you to clearly identify when discrimination has occurred and we’ll skill you up with the tools to tackle it effectively.
Convinced yet? If not, how about we tell you that…
• According to the Fawcett Society, 30,000 women lose their jobs every year due to pregnancy discrimination
or how about…
