Training
AdviceUK was the first advice sector based NVQ Assessment centre approved by City & Guilds. We have expertise and knowledge to ensure our training reflects how advice centres work, and to meet the highest quality control standards for advice work training.
Enhance your skills: New 2010 Training and Qualifications Brochure
We have brand new features in this brochure, which include details of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points attached to each course, as well as a range of exciting new courses and qualifications.
AdviceUK still welcomes frontline advisers on our flagship Learning to Advise Training Programme, which we have revised to take account of participant feedback. The improved course now includes 2 days of Debt Advice and 1 day of Immigration as well as the other 5 modules, which are all key to providing advice.
Full details of other advice-based and accredited training programmes on offer are featured in the brochure below.
New training!
AdviceUK is now offering the ‘Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector’ (PTLLS) accredited training, which will run 3 times in 2010. The next course will be starting in May 2010. If you have staff who are delivering training to colleagues or clients as part of their job, this 6 week course and qualification might just suit their needs.
Why not have a look at our NVQs and qualifications on offer.
We are a registered Assessment Centre for Advice & Guidance, Customer Service and Management through City & Guilds and are currently one of only a few registered centres for the new Legal Advice NVQ, through the Open University Awarding Organisation.
You can attend any of our training at our head office in Central London but, why not let us come to you? AdviceUK provides a range of in-house staff development opportunities (see pages 2-3 for full information). Simply complete the booking form and we’ll contact you to discuss your specific requirements.
