Strengthening the Voluntary Sector’s Voice in Welfare Reform

NCVO have launched a new project looking at voluntary and community sector perspectives on the effects of welfare reforms on different groups and communities. The researcher, Anjelica Finnegan, has put out a call for evidence which asks organisations to reflect on:

  • How welfare reforms have affected their beneficiaries
  • Whether they have had to make changes to services as a result of the reforms and what these are/why
  • Their capacity to respond to any changes in demand for their services/support

They would like to hear from charities of all sizes from across England, whether providing services or a voice to people affected by the reforms. To find out more and to submit your feedback please visit www.ncvo.org.uk/WelfareCallForEvidence. If you would prefer to feed into the project over the phone please contact Anjelica on 020 7520 3172 / anjelica.finnegan@ncvo.org.uk

The deadline for submissions is listed as 30April 2014 on the website. If you think you might need more time then please contact Anjelica.
