If your company would like to make a one-off donation, or is particularly interested in one element of our work you might like to consider sponsorship.
There are a number of opportunities for sponsoring AdviceUK services and activities:
Sponsor A Trainee
It is vital that people giving advice are properly trained. This training however, can prove expensive for charities. You can alleviate this cost burden by sponsoring one or more trainees as they undertake our 13 day Learning To Advise course. Advice Centres will need to prove a pressing financial need for this support before we will release the subsidy.
Sponsor a Publication
AdviceUK produces a number of publications each year including a quarterly magazine and our Annual Report. You can sponsor anything from one edition of Independent Adviser through to a bulk arrangement for all of our publications. In return we shall highlight your organisation’s support for us.
Sponsor a Region
Providing support on the ground throughout the UK is an expensive business. We need funds to be able to provide face-to-face support to members and you can specify the region(s) that you would like to support.
Sponsor Marketing Activities
Simply telling people that we and our members exist costs money. There are a number of sponsorship opportunities available; from sponsoring posters and mousemats through to sponsoring annual planners and mailshots.
AdviceUK does not have sufficient funds to have a permanently staffed research team. However we have a track record of commissioning important pieces of research. You could lend your name to a similarly important project by sponsoring such research.
Our Money Advice services are nationally renowned as a result of having had a post funded by HSBC for over 7 years. The National Money Advice Co-ordinator has access to the top levels of Government and the Finance industry. We would like to replicate this activity in other areas of practice such as: Housing / Homelessness, Welfare Benefits, Immigration, Disability, Employment.
