Fast track application to NHAS membership for eligible AdviceUK members
The National Homelessness Advice Service (NHAS) provides FREE second-tier services to voluntary agencies that give housing and homelessness advice.
The NHAS aims to prevent homelessness and improve housing by giving expert advice, training, and support to frontline advisers. It works with local councils, independent advice agencies, and Citizens Advice Bureaux throughout England. Its free membership includes:
A free telephone consultancy service for housing advisers to call with any query relating to homelessness or housing.
Housing Debt casework
Second-tier support and a referral service where required for mortgage debt cases, welfare benefit cases (where the welfare benefit issue impacts on housing affordability), and some rent arrears cases.
Free expert training on a range of housing and homelessness topics.

Applying to become a member of NHAS
