This course can be delivered in-house

The purpose of the course will be to:

  • Understand the purpose and uses of mentoring and coaching and discuss the differences
  • See how mentoring and coaching can be used in the workplace and with clients
  • Be able to set up a structure for mentoring and coaching
  • Learn and practice some of the basic skills and techniques used
  • Examine the communication skills needed in these meetings
  • Understand the need for boundaries when working with staff or clients

This course is suitable for those about to become mentors and coaches. It is also suitable for those about to be coached /mentored to help them to understand the process.
