26 January 2011       Yorks & Humber AUK Members Regional Network Meeting
                                    Fundraising Strategy and Tools               Sheffield

We had a very well attended meeting with13 members contributing to an interesting and lively session.  The presentation, Discussion flipcharts, Income Sources exercise, and Feedback Summary, are all available to members only, from sarah.collins@adviceuk.org.uk.  The following resources are existing resources from other sources; some adapted for use in this session.

The focus of the meeting was Training: looking at your organisations needs; attracting funding for training; training available in your region.  We also did an exercise to identify what you think AdviceUK's priorities should be, and got some great feedback to shape our service.  Minutes and flipcharts from each session are available to members, email sarah.collins@adviceuk.org.uk

    Session covered language, types of contracts, 12 principles what do they mean and how to challenge, writing an effective bid, and costing your services.
