AdviceUK supports members in the West Midlands through quarterly regional meetings. Since the end of Working Together for Advice funding, we have not had specific resources for development work in the Midlands, but please contact Simon Johnson for more information about how we can help.

Ongoing projects

• Partnership work with agencies in Birmingham to develop a city-wide voice for independent advice and improve services through collaboration. Contact Simon Johnson for more infromation.
• Our BOLD project is developing new approaches to funding and commissioning advice services. Initial work was undertaken in Coventry and Manchester, and BOLD is now working with advice services and the local authority in Nottingham on commissioning from April 2011. In August 2010, we published Outcomes in Advice jointly with new economics foundation. Click on the link below to download the report.
