The Sustainable Advice Project
The Sustainable Advice Project’s (S.A.P.) goal was to enable our members, and particularly small and medium sized agencies, to enhance the quality not only of their funding applications, but also the quality of their organisations. Funded by the City Bridge Trust (CBT) over three years, S.A.P helped advice providing agencies diversify their income and improve the quality of their advice services by addressing the weaker areas in applications, projects or organisational systems. It brought together the skills and initiatives developed within AdviceUK with the expertise of partner organisations to promote the sustainability and quality agenda. We worked with London Rebuilding Society, NCVO’s Sustainable Funding Project and other key partners to help develop the investment readiness and funding systems of advice providers in London ensuring that your organisation’s plans and projects are given the opportunity to become sustainable. An additional key element of S.A.P. was supporting AdviceUK member partnerships. We supported the development and improvement of the BMER Advice Network, the Women Together Against Advice consortium, the London Disability Network and the London Franchise Forum for members with Legal Services Commission contracts.
