Key Skills for Reception Workers
4th July, 2018 – This course is for frontline staff who are the first point of contact with the public, service users or clients where advice is being given. It is particularly suited to staff in Student Unions and Higher Education. Welcome staff, receptionists, telephonists and volunteers who deal with clients, visitors and customers would all benefit.
This one day course provides an overview of the skills and knowledge needed for success in your organisation’s reception / triage role. It covers key principles such as confidentiality, equality & diversity and signposting. It also offers the opportunity to practice and enhance communication skills and explore how to deal with common challenges that occur on reception.
