Generating New Income Through Service Delivery

To introduce participants to ways in which income generation across a range of different income types and business models, can be integrated with and embedded in current service delivery. We will look in particular at how the USP of your organisation / service can be developed in ways that open up new income streams, using insights from digital technology, social psychology and behavioural economics, and helping you make the links between advice and work to improve health, wellbeing, local infrastructure, community development and economic opportunity for the most vulnerable.

Objectives: By the end of the session, participants will:

  1. Have a framework for understanding different kinds of income and how they relate to existing structures / systems and processes in their organisation
  2. Be able to identify ways in which new income can be developed withou the need for significant extra time or financial resources
  3. Be able to identify how their own USP (unique selling point) relates to one of the themes discussed
  4. Have identified at least one additional resource to help them identify additional income streams for their organisation
  5. Be able to take concrete action to integrate current advice service delivery with activity to generate new income
  6. Be able to prioritise work to develop new partnerships and collaborations
  7. Be able to identify how people using current services can contribute meaningfully and sustainably to future service and project design
