Fast TRAC Programme for Trainers

Training, Reflection, Accreditation & Coaching

How often have you attended training courses and discovered that half the content you already knew or wasn’t relevant to you? This programme is different.

Fast-TRAC is a programme designed with your specific learning needs in mind. YOU choose the content, learning style and pace of learning. It’s entirely flexible and designed to meet your unique needs and situation. You cover only the areas that are relevant and of interest to you.

What is Fast-TRAC?

This is an AdviceUK exclusive package of bespoke training, coaching and individual guidance to enable you to develop your training skills in a fully supported manner. The programme is designed and tailored to suit your individual needs and is designed to work flexibly to fit with your own skills, interests and job role.

How is it different to other training programmes?

Firstly you’ll get your own trainer and coach – one of AdviceUK’s experienced and qualified Learning Specialists – who will support you for the duration of the programme.

Some of the topics we offer include:

  • Session planning
  • Presenting effectively
  • Designing exercises and activities
  • Using learning resources well – PowerPoint, flipchart, whiteboard
  • Making learning stick
  • Spicing up’ boring content
  • Giving effective feedback
  • Meeting the learning needs of diverse learners
  • Evaluating learning

You will also receive feedback on training that you design and deliver yourself. This will help you to develop your own style, in a supportive and constructive way.

Is it a qualification?

We understand that certificates of achievement are important for people & organisations, so we offer you accreditation as part of this package. To be awarded trainer accreditation, you simply work with your trainer and coach to put together a portfolio that demonstrates evidence of your competence. We have over 10 years experience as an Assessment Centre for qualifications, so we know that we’re best placed to guide you through this.

What do I need to sign up for Fast-TRAC?

You just need to have a keen interest in learning and an enthusiasm for developing people. In addition you need to have identified people you would like to train and, ideally, have confirmed opportunities for this (though do talk to us if you’re struggling to find this – we might be able to do something to help). This can be either within your work or through a voluntary role.

What do I get for my investment?

We give you up to 6 months* of entirely bespoke support. 1-to-1s, workshops & feedback sessions can be arranged with your AdviceUK trainer and coach, at a time that is convenient for you. We work with you to plan your development to take account of your workload and other commitments. Prices for Fast TRAC start at £850. Call us for a quote.

*Any further support required after this will be at an additional cost. Contact us for more details.

OK, what’s the catch?

There’s no catch. We believe that to become a truly successful and confident trainer what you really need is practice, practice, practice! Supportive feedback and opportunities to be stretched are also important. That’s why we have created this programme with flexible content and personalised support & guidance – to ensure you get exactly what you need.

Sign up today for AdviceUK’s Fast-TRAC programme and you will acquire new knowledge & skills through exercises and feedback that reflect your real work activities. Not only that, but upon completion of a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate your competence, you’ll get trainer accreditation too!

This programme is most suited to you if:

  • You have opportunities to deliver training or facilitate group sessions in your work or volunteer role (but do talk to us if you’re struggling to find trainees!)
  • You are new to training & would like to develop confidence as well as competence
