This includes help with your portfolio, contact time with an allocated assessor and personalised feedback on your practice. On completion you will receive full certification from City & Guilds and AdviceUK to confirm your practice. (Prices 2016)
AdviceUK is pleased to be able to offer this qualification which is an ideal short and cost-effective qualification for those wanting an award to recognise their skill in training and facilitating groups of learners.
Facilitating Learning in Groups is especially appropriate for those who have attended our two day course “Train the Trainer”.
What is it?
A City and Guilds competence-assessed learning unit. It confirms that you are competent at facilitating learning in groups. It also shows that you can demonstrate knowledge and skills needed to train adult learners.
How do you get it?
By compiling a small portfolio of evidence and being assessed giving two short training sessions. You will work with an AdviceUK Learning Specialist on a one-to-one basis who will support you through the portfolio and assess your training practice.
What do you have to do?
Deliver two training sessions that we can observe. Also do some written work about adult learning theory and perhaps answer some oral questions about your approach to training / teaching. Finally you need to show that you can reflect on your practice with good evaluation / feedback practices.
How long does it take?
Although there is no set deadline, it takes most people 2 to 3 months to complete. Your AdviceUK contact will work flexibly with you, in accordance with your work commitments.
How do I sign up?
