AdvicePro – 3.5 Million Cases in 10 Years!
AdvicePro, the secure, online case management application, is celebrating its 10th anniversary and 3.5 millionth case added.
In the 10 years since launch, AdvicePro has supported advisers managing 3.5 million cases – that’s millions of people who have been helped through advice agencies using AdvicePro. This includes:
- Handling £4.3 billion of debt
- Achieving £1.4 billion of financial gains
- Writing off £2.8million of debt
Commissioned by AdviceUK during the summer of 2006, the application was officially launched in September 2007. The original purpose was to address the lack of a suitable online case management solution for AdviceUK members holding legal aid contracts and facing major change in their contracts.
Since its launch, AdvicePro has proved to be highly successful and popular with both small and large sized advice organisations. These organisations span a variety of sectors including local authorities, housing associations, independent advice agencies and students’ unions.
AdvicePro currently supports over 420 agencies with over 6,000 active users.
On average 48,000 new cases are being added each month reflecting the continuing need for advice. These cases are spread across a diverse range of subjects such as Immigration, Asylum, Welfare Rights, Debt, Money Guidance, Housing and Student Issues.
Steve Johnson, Chief Executive at AdviceUK says:
“We are proud, not only to have founded such a successful product, but of the monumental help that this has given to our AdviceUK members and other organisations. AdvicePro also provides a valuable resource on trends in the sector and highlights the biggest issues affecting people today and over the past 10 years.”
AdvicePro has evolved over the past 10 years due to ACM Solutions close relationship with advice agencies and listening to the challenges they continue to face. A large number of new features have been added including full welfare rights functionality, support for both the common and standard financial statements, SMS functionality and a powerful customisation module. These sit alongside a powerful, bespoke reporting application which allows agencies the flexibility to create their own reports for funders, trustees and other interested parties.
Ali McLaren, Managing Director of ACM Solutions says:
“Reaching this anniversary for AdvicePro is testimony to both the robustness of the application and our approach to engaging the user community in application development. AdvicePro is the best in class tool for anyone needing a great system to manage their cases whether in the advice sector, local authorities, housing associations or private sector organisations. I’m excited about the new developments upcoming in the next 10 years.”
