Annual Reports

Our annual report shows our activities over the past financial year. It details how we’ve made progress against our strategic aims, how AdviceUK is organised and how we’ve funded our work and supported our members.

Key Achievements

  • In 2015-16 AdviceUK members answered approximately 2 million requests for help and managed over 1.2 million cases
  • In 2015-16 the number of network members throughout the UK stood at 780
  • Over half of the AdviceUK membership continues to work in the 50 poorest locations in the UK serving the most vulnerable communities and excluded groups
  • In 2015-16 we took some important steps forward in-line with our strategy to continue to add value for our members and create a sustainable business model and we invested in:
    • Business planning
    • New service areas
    • Digital systems and facilities aimed at improving performance and communication with Members
    • The development of on-line booking and purchase systems
    • New working relationships/ partnerships
    • Diversified membership categories
  • Our services and overings continued to grow with:
    • The Learning and Skills team providing 1,409 training course places in 2015-16 compared with 1,072 in 2014-15
    • 307 new registrations for qualifications (2014-15 243) bringing to above 500 the number of active learners across the country being supported towards vocational qualifications
    • AdvicePro growing its customer base to 4,277 users across 388 UK agencies
