Chilli Reid, Head of Development
Chilli has been in this post since April 2005 having previously been AdviceUK’s Network Co-ordinator for the Inclusive Quality Project from January 2002. He has overall responsibility for developing the AdviceUK network across the country, for building capacity to provide additional support to members in the home countries and regions, for developing new regional funding and projects and for co-ordination of existing activities and initiatives in the regions. He takes the lead on matters such as workforce development and training and liaises with national and regional government on issues of sector capacity, rationalization and collaboration and around initiatives such as the expansion of debt advice through the Financial Inclusion Fund.
Before joining AdviceUK Chilli managed a specialist debt advice agency having previously been a debt and generalist advice practitioner. He is also an experienced trainer and is qualified teacher.
